Dr. Ramone W. Griffith is the eldest son of Wendell and Marcia Griffith. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York but was flavored by the cultural seasonings of his parents’ home island of Barbados.
By the grace of God, in his educational journey, Pastor Griffith earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theology (Pastoral Ministry) and Music (Vocal Emphasis), and a Master of Arts degree in Religion with an emphasis in Metropolitan Ministry, all from Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland. Most recently, he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Howard University School of Divinity in Washington, D.C.
Among the gifts and talents with which God has blessed Pastor Griffith, none are more meaningful and fulfilling to him than building people for the glory of God. He has been blessed to travel and tour many countries singing, teaching and proclaiming the name of Jesus. Dr. Griffith seeks to follow the model assigned by Luke, “to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” (Luke 1:17b)
Dr. Griffith is married to the former Cavena Williams, an elementary educator in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Together, they enjoy taking walks around the monuments, attending sporting events, and competitive monopoly.
Dr. Griffith is an avid New York Yankees' fan who also enjoys history, tennis, and cooking. Dr. Griffith loves the Lord and His people. Amidst all, he is excited to “watch God work.” Dr. Griffith serves as the Pastor of the New Beginnings and United in Christ Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Baltimore, MD.
